Welp, better late than never...

Vis stands over her kitchen counter top, mumbling to herself incoherently in Latin, something about her memory. She stuck her tongue out in some unconscious attempt to help focus herself as she pipped out the words in frosting, "Happy Birthday, Vernus." She wiped her forehead, which was quickly filling with frosting and flour. As her siblings noisily bickered in the background, the girl slammed down the pipe, black icing squirting everywhere except on the masterpiece she had been working on for the past six hours-- a double layer red velvet cake-- and the gift that accompanied it. She placed her pipe and it's leftover contents in the sink, determining to leave it there and clean it up later... that, or left her siblings simply come over and lick up the mess. She patted herself off and turned to head upstairs to change, when she quickly turned on her heal, grabbing the present and the cake and taking them both with her. The last thing she was going to do was let her siblings come and swallow and break all her hard work.

((HA! Didn't know Vis ever dressed normal, did ya ? Yep. This is her in casual wear. She actually dresses like this quite frequently (you just never see her outside without her cloak). And, her hair is indeed pulled back in a pony tail, to keep it out of the mess and keep her face cool. You also get a _small peek at her earrings and corset piercings (if you can even see them). And, yes, she does indeed have a widow's peek... Yeah, Vis just does not look like herself, does she ?

So, happy belated birthday, Vernus (to whom this deviation is dedicated and who I have only now remembered to mention...). I hope you like your gift.
